Chilika
Chilika– The Largest brackish water lake in Asia occupied an area of 1100 sq.km is another attraction of Odisha. Located 44 km away from Puri. The lake is the largest coastal lagoon in India and also the second-largest saltwater lagoon in the World. The Ecosystem of the Lake supports the Bird sanctuary. Jiranga Monastry- Mini Tibet Of Odisha
The largest Buddhist monastery in Eastern India is located in Chandragiri, Gajapati district, Odisha state. The monastery inaugurated by the Tibetan guru Dalai Lama in 2010. It is a residence-cum-college for budding Buddhist monks who come from all over India to study. The Gajapati District itself gives an experience jungle view.
