Who Am I to Advice?

This is Ashutosh, Owner of Learn With Pari YouTube channel. Here I am going to share my personal experience. I’ve now been making videos for over 3 years. I will share the Best tips and tricks that I learned during this time.

Tip-1  Niche for your YouTube channel

  • It should be unique.
  • Don’t mix multiple Niches into one channel. You can make different channels for each niche.
  • Select the Niche in your knowledge area. So that you can easily generate quality content.

Tip-2 Be consistent about posting videos

  • Set a goal that you know you’ll be able to accomplish, and do your best to stick to it. Clearly mention the frequency of your video to your Audience in the cover picture and about section of the channel.
  • Post your video at the same time and day of each week/month.
  • Check YOUTUBE analytics and post your video at such times, when your viewers are more.

Tip #3 : Don’t forget to do SEO on your videos

  • You can use the TubeBuddy plug in your browser, that will help you to provide the proper keyword in the video tag and title.
  • Give your video a descriptive title.
  • Write a description.
  • The Below screen will give you an idea, how I use TubeBuddy Toll to select the tag for my video.

Tip #4 Don’t neglect audio

  • It’s really very very very Important to have good audio in your video content.
  • Following are some mics that i will recommend
  1. Rode Wireless Go II Dual Channel Wireless Microphone System
  2. JBL Commercial CSLM20B Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
  3. Boya BYM1 Omnidirectional Lavalier Condenser Microphone with 20ft Audio Cable

Tip #5  Length of Video

  • The length of your video will ultimately affect your watch time. Try to deliver the content in a shorter duration of time.
  • While you might think cranking out a number of short videos (5minutes or less) so you can get more views, longer videos (at least 10 minutes ) tend to have higher watch times than shorter ones.

Tip #6 Custom Thumbnails

  • Using bright bold colors that stand out on the platform is ideal.
  • Contrasting colors and borders around any text you include will make your thumbnails visually appealing
  • I personally use CANVA to create thumbnails.

Tip #7 Playlists

  • Playlists automatically play another video once they are done watching the current one.
  • Use related keywords in the title of the playlist.

Tip #8 Use simple editing software

  • If this is your first time editing a video, Use very simple and basic editing software. It will save your time and you can focus on content. Ultimately Content is the King.

Tip #9 Understand your Audience

  • Analyse YT analytics, that will help you to understand the taste of your audience.
  • Educate, Entertain, Inspire your Audience.
